Atlas Copco Industrial Projection Guidance (IPG) systems project dynamic visual instructions directly onto the workpiece or assembly area, guiding operators through complex tightening sequences, part placement, and assembly steps without paper work instructions or screen-based HMIs. Laser and video projection technologies adapt in real time to the assembly process, reducing errors in high-variant, short-cycle-time environments where manual labour and frequent changeovers make static instructions impractical. IPG integrates with Avantguard and Industrial Location Guidance (ILG) for a fully connected operator guidance and error-proofing solution.
