Tecna manufactures spring-tension tool balancers and suspension arms in Italy. Their balancers suspend tools, cables and hoses at the operator's working height, absorbing the weight of the tool between cycles so the operator handles the task rather than the tool. Load capacity runs from 0.2kg for small screwdrivers and grinders up to 180kg for heavy equipment and counterbalancing applications, with wire strokes up to 3 metres. The range includes standard nylon and steel rope models, aluminium construction, ATEX-rated variants for hazardous environments, ESD-safe and food industry versions, and zero-gravity balancers for ultra-low resistance suspension.
