Quotations and orders
All prices and quotations are issued in pounds sterling and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Acceptance of a quotation constitutes an agreement to our terms and conditions.
Quotations are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry. If the work required differs materially from the description provided, a revised quotation will be issued before work proceeds.
Supply of products
Products are supplied subject to availability. We will notify you if a product is unavailable and offer an alternative or a full refund of any deposit paid. Product specifications are subject to change by the manufacturer without notice.
Risk in goods passes to the customer on delivery. Title passes on receipt of full payment.
Repair and service work
Repair and service work is carried out under our ISO 9001 quality management system. A written quotation is issued before any chargeable work begins. All repair work carries a 3-month parts and labour warranty against defects in workmanship or materials supplied by us.
The warranty does not cover faults arising from misuse, accidental damage, modification by a third party, or normal wear and tear. Tools must be returned to us for warranty assessment.
Calibration
Torque calibration is performed in our UKAS ISO-17025 accredited laboratory. Calibration certificates are issued in accordance with the agreed scope of accreditation and apply to the tool at the date and time of calibration.
We accept no liability for tool performance or torque accuracy in the period between calibration dates.
Payment
Payment terms are stated on each invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at 8% above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability to you in connection with any contract shall not exceed the value of that contract. We accept no liability for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of production, loss of profit or loss of data, howsoever arising.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by English law.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos and data, is the property of Total Airtool Services (UK) Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content without our prior written consent.
Governing law
These terms and conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
