Atlas Copco Isolated and Insulated Assembly Solutions are tooling components rated to the IEC 60900 standard for working on or adjacent to live electrical systems, particularly EV battery packs and high-voltage automotive assemblies. The range covers isolated sockets, extensions, adapters, bit holders, and insulated socket covers, all featuring rotating protection sleeves that prevent inadvertent contact with live conductors during fastening. Using IEC 60900-compliant tooling in EV and electrical assembly eliminates the need to de-energise the system before every fastening operation, significantly reducing cycle time and improving production throughput.
