Automatic handheld screwdrivers from FIAM combine screw feeding and tightening in a single operator-held unit, eliminating the need to pick and position fasteners by hand. Pneumatic and electric models are available from 0.88 Nm to over 100 Nm, with straight and pistol-grip formats and a choice of clutch, transducer, and torque/angle control tightening technologies. Supporting equipment, EasyDriver screw feeders, Poka Yoke error-proofing systems, indicator lights, and power supply units, is available within the same family, allowing complete semi-automated assembly station design from a single source.
