Tappers

FIAM pneumatic tappers cover machine tapping from M8 to M16 in straight-grip and pistol-grip configurations, with automatic forward-reverse action for clean thread formation and tap withdrawal. Free speeds of 470–500 rpm are suited to standard thread pitch progressions. Tension-compression floating holders, available as accessories, compensate for spindle alignment variation to extend tap life in production fixtures and CNC pallets.
